Eric Louie is an active orchestral bassoonist and contrabassoonist, and joined the Toledo Symphony as 3rd bassoon and contrabassoon in 2023.

He additionally performs regularly with ProMusica Chamber Orchestra, Louisville Orchestra, Dayton Philharmonic, West Virginia Symphony, Lexington Philharmonic, Orchestra Iowa, Cincinnati Ballet, Evansville Philharmonic, and many other regional and local orchestras.

Eric holds an Artist Diploma and Master of Music from The University of Cincinnati's College-Conservatory of Music and a Bachelor of Arts from The University of Akron. His major teachers include Barrick Stees, William Winstead, Martin James, and Per Hannevold.
