Katherine Cosgrove

Trumpet

Katherine Cosgrove grew up in Brookfield, IL, a suburb of Chicago most famous for its world-class zoo. In high school she played principal trumpet with the Protégé Philharmonic, while studying under Matthew Lee. She joined the Toledo Symphony in November 2012. Prior to that she performed frequently throughout southeast Michigan, where she held positions with the Ann Arbor Symphony Orchestra and Brass Quintet. She currently lives in Dexter, MI and enjoys rock-climbing, kitchen related activities, dog-sitting and occasionally joining her husband Ben on the disc golf course.
