Kellen Degnan lives in Akron, and performs throughout Ohio and beyond. He is a member of the Toledo Symphony Orchestra, and also regularly joins the cello sections of the Erie Philharmonic, Akron Symphony Orchestra, and Canton Symphony Orchestra. He is the cello instructor at the Western Reserve Suzuki School, where he teaches students from toddler to adult, and does his best to inspire them to love the cello as much as he does. His greatest pleasure as a musician is collaborating with friends on new and exciting projects, and he prioritizes performing contemporary music and music by underrepresented composers. When not practicing or performing, he spends most of his time driving to and from gigs, and always welcomes a new podcast recommendation for the drives.
