Born and raised in Toledo, Ohio, Grace Wipfli has proven to be an impressive, charming and promising young soprano and stage director. She served as the Soprano Resident Artist for two seasons with Toledo Opera, where she appeared as Inez in Il Trovatore. Her performance highlights include: Donna Anna (Don Giovanni), The Governess (The Turn of the Screw), Fiordiligi (Cosi fan tutte), Ann Truelove (The Rake’s Progress), and The Beggar Woman (Sweeney Todd). Through the Laffont Competition, she was chosen as a District Winner two years in a row. During the 2021 Sewanee Summer Music Festival, Ms. Wipfli was chosen as a winner of the Jacqueline Avent Concerto Competition. Ms. Wipfli is currently the Theatre Arts Director at Ottawa Hills High School. Her directing credits include: Guys and Dolls, Mean Girls, Mamma Mia, Chicago, Little Mermaid, Jr., Hadestown: Teen Edition, and Little Shop of Horrors. She continues to be inspired by her remarkable students!
