Ruslan Sprague grew up in the Berkshire’s of Massachusetts. Dancing since the age of three, he trained at Cantarella School of dance, run by Madeline Culpo, and had supplemental training from Darrell Pucciarello, former Met Opera Ballet and Huston Ballet soloist. He attended Boston Ballet and Boston Conservatory dance programs, choreographic programs with Helen Pickett and Jorma Elo, and a traineeship with Ballet West.
 
Ruslan has performed with Ballet West in productions such as Anna Marie Holmes’s Don Quixote, Ashtons Cinderella, and Ben Stevensons’, Dracula. He then returned home and has since been freelancing since (Nevada Ballet Theatre, Ballet Key West, Charleston Ballet).
 
Ruslan has worked professionally with the Albany Berkshire Ballet, (Nutcracker, Midsummer Nights Dream, Process and Performance), has taught at Hinsdale Dance Academy, Ballet Institute of Atlanta, School of Albany Berkshire Ballet, and has been pursuing his love of choreography (The Girl from Ipanema, Fall, and Who’s Lovin’ you, Sum of the Parts).
