TOLEDO, OH — Live Arts Toledo is proud to announce a special evening of music and memories with the legendary Herb Alpert & The Tijuana Brass & Other Delights, coming to the Toledo Museum of Art Peristyle Theater on Saturday, May 16, 2026.
Celebrating the 60th anniversary of the iconic album Whipped Cream & Other Delights, this one-night-only performance will feature Herb Alpert and his dynamic new Tijuana Brass band performing the unforgettable hits that defined a generation, including “Ladyfingers,” “Spanish Flea,” “Tijuana Taxi,” “This Guy’s In Love With You,” and “The Lonely Bull.”
A nine-time GRAMMY® Award-winner and co-founder of A&M Records, Herb Alpert has sold over 72 million records worldwide. With a catalog that once outsold The Beatles two to one, his music is an indelible part of American pop culture.
More than a concert, this 90-minute event is an immersive experience, complete with a multimedia display of vintage photos, classic videos, and rare memorabilia from Alpert’s storied career. The show is informal and intimate, with Herb sharing stories and answering audience questions about his music, A&M Records, and collaborations with iconic artists like The Carpenters, Sergio Mendes, and Burt Bacharach.
Don’t miss Herb Alpert & The Tijuana Brass & Other Delights on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at The Peristyle.
Tickets go on sale Wednesday, November 19, 2025.
For tickets, visit liveartstoledo.com/herb-alpert or call the box office at 419.246.8000.
This performance is made possible through a generous gift from John and Barbara Burson.
