Journey Across America - Two Evenings of Flute Choir Music
June 17, 2026 and July 16, 2026
Calling all flute enthusiasts! Join TSO flutist, Amy Heritage, for TWO summer events filled with fabulous flute fun! If you're passionate about the flute and aged 18 or above, this is the perfect opportunity to come together with fellow flute fanatics and delve into the enchanting world of flute choir repertoire.
The theme of both reading sessions is Journey Across America. Join us as we explore a cross section of American music, from Native American melodies to the Beach Boys. We'll "leave the harbor" with a little music of Herman Beetfink and take a ride on Nicole Chamberlain's Railroaded to visit Peter Senchuk's Painted Desert. Enjoy a little patriotic music as well and get warmed up for your summer Stars and Stripes performances!
You'll receive music one week prior for ample practice time. These sessions promise to be both educational and enjoyable for adult flutists of all levels. Register today to connect with like-minded flutists and share your love for music!
