Summer Intensives
Students who are not enrolled at Toledo Ballet are welcome to attend and can find further registration instructions below. Students who register for both weeks will receive a $100 discount! Current scholarship students are eligible for additional savings—be sure to ask about what opportunities may be available to you!
Aliane Baquerot-Wilson
Aliane Baquerot-Wilson is an Olympic rhythmic gymnast turned Broadway dancer. She appeared on Broadway in the original company of Saturday Night Fever and Twyla Tharp's Movin' Out and was also a member of the first national tour of Contact. Following that she moved to Los Angeles to try her hand at film and television. Aliane can be seen in films such as Southland Tales, Spider-Man 3, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, and A Christmas Carol. She also worked on TV shows including Cold Case and was a featured trainer on NBC's Celebrity Circus. Aliane has danced with multiple recording artists including: Michael Jackson, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, John Legend, Elton John and Tony Bennett. Aliane now resides in Columbus and is passionate about teaching and passing along what she has learned throughout all of her experiences about the business end of the business as well as the art of dance.
Johan Mancebo
Johan Mancebo was born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, and began his dance training in 2006. He became a part of the inaugural class of male dancers to graduate from the National School of Ballet of the Dominican Republic in 2015. During his training from 2013 to 2015, Johan secured an apprenticeship with the Dominican National Ballet. In November 2014, he was invited to perform Septime Webre's "Alice in Wonderland" with CODA21 in Puerto Rico, and shortly thereafter, in January 2015, he joined The Washington Ballet Studio Company, also under Webre's direction. Johan has since danced with prestigious companies such as Ballet de Cámara de Madrid and Sibiu Ballet Theater in Romania. In 2023, he joined the Cleveland Ballet, where he has taken on soloist and principal roles, including Don José in "Gladisa," Jean de Brienne in "Raymonda," the Cavalier in "The Nutcracker," and both Raven and Bluebird in "The Sleeping Beauty," among many other notable performances.

Join us for an exciting workshop as we prepare for our production in Spring 2027. Open to dancers in Level 3 and above, this workshop offers a unique opportunity to learn and grow—plus, participants will be automatically cast in the production with no additional audition required.
